Information technology - Testing and Certification at the VDE Institute

To ensure that safety does not fall by the wayside during technical progress in information technology or audio and video products, the VDE Institute offers comprehensive tests on devices throughout their entire product life cycle. They range from electric safety to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio to environmental simulation tests and chemical tests. Testing expertise and the high international reputation of the VDE test mark make the VDE Institute an ideal partner for the IT and audio-video industry.

We have been appointed as a notified body for radio equipment according to the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU and issue EU type examination certificates and evaluation reports based on a document check.
