The VDE Renewables Photovoltaic Team spent a busy few days chatting with our valued clients at this year’s Smarter E Intersolar Exhibition in Munich. The three days were spent sharing updates on current PV testing and certification requirements and introducing our services to a wide range of exhibition visitors – including fielding questions on plant certification, grid conformity and battery projects and testing. It is clear the addition of the electrical energy storage and power-2-drive sections of the fair, are adding in value to the overall event.
Our PV experts were joined by colleagues from the Renewables Grid Conformity department, Jan Richter from the VDE Testing Institute, Cherif Kedir from RETC in the USA, Director of Operation and Strategy, Katja Münzer, Director of Trends and Innovation, Burkhard Holder, the new head of the VDE Brand, Marketing and Communications team Regina Schnathmann, and the PZI sales team covering automotive, charging and e-mobility topics.
All in all, a busy and productive few days sharing our quality assurance services, catching up with old friends, and being dazzled by the upcoming trends in the industry.
