Invitation to the CIGRE Colloquium 2025

The German Committee of CIGRE warmly invites Study Committees B3: Substations and A3: High Voltage Equipment to a joint colloquium, taking place from March 24 to 28, 2025, at the WIKA Innovation Center in Klingenberg, Germany.

This colloquium will bring together experts and key players from the electric power industry, including system operators, manufacturers, engineers, policymakers, regulators, and academics. It offers a prime opportunity to discuss the energy transition and its challenges for the networks and substations of the future. Look forward to inspiring keynote presentations, engaging discussions, and insights into current topics such as the 2GW offshore wind farms and their integration.

The event will feature contributions from NGN (Next Generation Network) and WiE (Women in Engineering), highlighting new research findings and innovative solutions. This is not only an opportunity to address challenges but also to network with leading professionals and exchange ideas.

The CIGRE Colloquium will be held at the WIKA Innovation Center in Klingenberg, Germany.

REGISTRATION
Registration will be open from August 27, 2024, to January 31, 2025. 

The participation fee is 300 Euros, which includes: 

• Access to: all WG meetings, technical sessions, opener, exhibition, technical tour.
• Food and beverage and social events.
• Bus transfer from the hotel to the event location.

Registration fees are to be paid according to the details on the invoice. You can either pay during the registration process via the connected online payment system, or by bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy 

• The registration of participation is binding.
• No refund will be given for cancellations.
• Name changes are possible.
• The participation fees are owed upon registration and are payable within 7 days following submission of the registration (but not later than 7 days before the starting day of the event).
• Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
• The conference program may be subject to changes.
